Well, I got my media center to work. It involved switching OS’s AGAIN. Now I’m on Element OS, an alpha-stage derivative of Ubuntu (elementmypc.com). I bought a Wii Remote and Wireless sensor bar (which really just means it’s battery powered) for $60, and ordered a USB extension cable (15 ft), a usb hub (4 ports) and a two-way usb cable, which I plan to use to steam music/videos/photos from my desktop to it as if it were a USB drive (pretty crafty, eh?) The WiiMote works great, and the IR works better on my computer than on the Wii (Sorry, Nintendo, but the hackers have won!). Also, in terms of application development, I have my first basic, one-page unfinished version of my app on my droid. Well, besides the crashing every time I hit a button, It works!
